How is this for freedom of speech in Africa?

KAMPALA (Reuters) - Ugandan security forces on Saturday raided the offices of a magazine seen as critical of President Yoweri Museveni's government, arresting three journalists and taking computers, a lawyer said.

And then? why can't we be free to differ with their opinions? What is a president but a politician elected to that post by people of whom we journalists are party. Do we cease to be citizens just because we are now 'journalists?' and if we are still citizens, then where are our rights or freedoms to opinion?

I wonder?
