I recently read an article on investment and the future, and honestly speaking this article sent me thinking. I don't know, but for those of you who know the investment guru by the name Warren Buffett http://www.pt78.wordpress.com/ would aslo may be attest to the same convictions I have now of investment and the future. This guy started investing at the age of 14 and he regrets having started so late. But the question is how many of us reading this article had a concept of investment at that formative age, let alone how many of us are even thinking of investing or creating an investment portfoloio that will benefit them and their children in future.
You know to most of us Africans especially have no concept of investing in the stock market. We wait for the day we retire, get our retirement package and then decide to open a spaza shop (tuck shop). This is indeed a very small minded view of the future, let alone life itself.
